AZAANEX BUILD

Kitchen & Bathroom Remodels

Kitchens and bathrooms are where renovation money concentrates: the most trades per square metre, the most decisions, the most ways for a project to stall. They are also the rooms that most change how a house lives — and what it resells for.

Why these rooms are different

A bathroom is plumbing, waterproofing, electrical, tile, ventilation and cabinetry stacked into the smallest room in the house — in the wrong order, each trade destroys the last one’s work. A kitchen adds gas, appliances and weeks of a family living around a construction zone. Sequencing is the real product here; the tile is just what you see.

Waterproofing deserves its own sentence: it is the part of a bathroom you never see and the reason renovated bathrooms fail early. Shower membranes done properly and ventilation actually vented outside — not into the attic — are non-negotiable line items on our scopes.

Scoping honestly

The honest budget conversation happens first, not after demolition. A cosmetic refresh — counters, fronts, fixtures, paint — is a fraction of a gut remodel, and sometimes it’s the right call; we’ll tell you which side of that line your goals fall on. Layout changes that move plumbing or gas are where costs step up sharply, and we say so before you fall in love with a floor plan.

Appliance installation, including the licensed gas and electrical connections, folds into the same job through AZAANEX PROPERTY — one schedule, one contact.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a bathroom or kitchen remodel take?

A full bathroom typically runs two to four weeks on site; kitchens three to six depending on scope and cabinetry lead times. We give you a schedule with the quote and tell you when materials ordering — the usual delay — needs decisions from you.

Can I keep using the kitchen during the work?

Partially, with planning — we sequence to keep water and a temporary cooking setup available as long as possible, and warn you honestly about the genuinely disruptive week.

Is it worth moving the layout?

Sometimes. Moving plumbing and gas is the big cost step, so the layout change has to earn it. We price both versions when the answer isn’t obvious.

Do you supply materials or do I?

Either. Many clients pick finishes themselves; we specify quantities and handle the construction materials. Allowances in the scope keep it clear who buys what.
