AZAANEX BUILD
Painting & Drywall
Paint is the highest-return, lowest-drama improvement a room can get — when the prep is done. The difference between a paint job that looks sharp for eight years and one that peels in two is almost entirely in the hours before the roller comes out.
Prep is the product
Good painters spend the first day not painting: filling nail holes and cracks, sanding, cutting through old gloss so new paint can grip, caulking trim gaps, priming stains and patches so they don’t ghost through the finish. Then two proper coats of decent paint — not one thick desperate one — with clean cut lines at the ceiling and floors and outlets actually protected rather than painted around.
Drywall work is the same discipline: patches taped and feathered wide over multiple coats so the wall reads flat under raking evening light, which is the light that exposes every shortcut. Water-stain repairs get the leak fixed first — paint over a live stain and both come back.
From one wall to a whole building
Single accent walls, whole-home repaints, ceiling refreshes, popcorn-ceiling removal, trim and door packages, and the drywall repairs that precede them all. For landlords, between-tenant turnover painting on a schedule is bread-and-butter work — priced predictably, done fast, and coordinated with flooring or repairs in the same window through one contact.

Frequently asked questions
How many coats do I actually need?
Two, over appropriate primer where there are patches, stains or a strong colour change. Anyone quoting one coat over a patched wall is quoting a wall that will show every patch.
Can you match my existing colour?
Yes — modern colour matching from a sample chip or door swing is very good. For older weathered walls we’ll tell you honestly when a full-wall repaint will look better than a patch-and-touch-up.
Do you remove popcorn ceilings?
Yes — scraped, skimmed and repainted flat. Ceilings from before the 1990s get checked for asbestos first; that’s a lab test, not a guess, and we arrange it.
How disruptive is a whole-home repaint?
Room-by-room sequencing keeps the house livable — typically a few days to a week for an average home. Empty homes go faster, which is why between-owners and between-tenants are the ideal windows.
